The Sierra Range SRMG-48 commercial gas griddle is designed to handle high-capacity cooking with its generously sized 48-inch-wide by 20-inch-deep cooking surface. This allows for simultaneous cooking of multiple food items. Beneath the 3⁄4-inch-thick polished steel griddle plate, evenly spaced U-shaped burners are positioned at 12-inch intervals, each delivering a robust 23,000 BTUs of heat. The thin griddle plate heats up quickly, making it ideal for handling consecutive orders. The griddle is fueled by natural gas and includes an LP conversion kit for added convenience.
In terms of dimensions, the Sierra Range SRMG-48 gas griddle measures 48 inches in width, 32.3 inches in depth, and stands at 13 inches in height. It is supported by 4-inch-high stainless steel legs, complete with 1-inch leveling feet to adapt to uneven surfaces, ensuring stability during operation. Constructed from stainless steel, the griddle is well-equipped to endure the impact of daily wear and tear. The heavy-gauge, welded front frame adds an extra layer of durability. Back and side splashes, welded onto the griddle plate, serve to contain hot oil and prevent splatter onto nearby surfaces. This design simplifies the process of scraping leftover particles into the 4-inch grease trough, which conveniently drains into the grease tray. The tray can be removed and emptied for future use, streamlining maintenance.
