The Southbend S36D S-series restaurant range is a versatile cooking solution, featuring six clog-resistant burners that allow for the simultaneous preparation of multiple dishes. Each burner is equipped with a durable cast iron grate, ensuring even heat distribution and retaining heat effectively when food is added. Conveniently placed underneath the burners, removable crumb trays catch grease and debris, facilitating easy and prompt cleaning of the cooking surface. At the front of the unit, a 4-inch-deep stainless steel rail provides a convenient space for seasoning foods or temporarily placing plates and pans.
The base of this gas range houses a standard oven, powered by a 35,000-BTU U-shaped burner. The oven's top and four sides are insulated with dense rock wool, coupled with a snap-action thermostat that maintains an interior temperature ranging from 175 to 550 degrees Fahrenheit. For enhanced safety, the range is equipped with a flame failure safety device that automatically cuts off the gas flow if the pilot light extinguishes. The enameled oven interior ensures corrosion resistance, easy cleaning, and consistent temperature distribution. The raised 6-inch legs offer ample space for cleaning underneath the range, allowing for easy maintenance.
